Ministering at the Gate of the New Era – Part 1

During a prayer call in the month of January 2023, the Lord showed me a gate in the universe amongst the stars. I have seen this cosmic gate before and I knew that it was the gate which stood between the current age we are in and the next age.

At the gate, I saw a person standing with one foot in the old age, and one foot in the new age. This person had two faces; the face of an ox facing the old age, and the face of the eagle which looked into the new era.

In the vision I stood at the gate and was gazing out into the old era. I saw crowds of people who looked lost, they were wandering around aimlessly. My heart went out to them and I asked the Lord, “Lord, what about these ones? Who will bring them through the gateway?”

I started to pray for them and the Lord dropped two Scriptures into my spirit

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge – Hosea 4:6

Where there is no vision, the people perish – Proverbs 29:18

Two words were highlighted to me from these verses, KNOWLEDGE and VISION.

I understood that these were the two keys that were needed to minister to the sheep who had not yet journeyed to the gate of the new era.

Key 1- Knowledge: This is the knowledge of the new wineskin that the Body is being called to operate in. The sheep who are wondering around aimlessly need to be feed this knowledge (meat). Until now, all they have been fed by the church is milk which has kept them in a state of immaturity.

“Therefore let us get past the elementary stage in the teachings about the Christ, advancing on to maturity and perfection and spiritual completeness, [doing this] without laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of teaching about washings (ritual purifications), the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. [These are all important matters in which you should have been proficient long ago.] And we will do this [that is, proceed to maturity], if God permits. – Hebrews 6:1-3

What teachings are beyond the elementary teachings you may ask? I believe these are the teachings about the powers of the age to come (Heb 6:5) and how the mature Sons of God are to operate in them in the new era. The Body of Christ needs to be taught how to govern creation from where we are seated, in heavenly places. The mysteries of God are being unlocked by revelatory teachers and training in small ekklesia communities will bring many into maturation and places of governance.

Key 2- Vision: Those who stand at the gate also have to administrate vision to the sheep so that they overcome the fear of the unknown. Even now people are becoming fearful and hopeless as they see darkness increasing upon the earth. Those who are called to be gateway ministers are to reveal the glorious plans of God for this period of transition as well as the new era. Vision births hope, and hope is a light in the darkness. When people can see and understand where we are going as a Body, then it is easier for them to step into the plans of God and not desperately hold on to old wine skin models of doing things.

So the ministry keys for the immature sons in this season of transition is the administration of knowledge and vision. I want to stress here that the administration of knowledge must be followed by practical training.
