In a vision on 26.05.2022 I saw a coronation taking place in the throne room of heaven. I saw rows of women lined up, dressed in bridal attire, kneeling before the Lord Jesus. He approached each of the women and placed a crown upon their heads. There were also children dressed in white kneeling around the women and they too were being coronated by Jesus. The Spirit then revealed to me that the crowns that were being distributed were the Crown of Life and the Crown of Righteousness.
The crown of life is mentioned in two places in the Bible:
“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12 NLT
“Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”Revelation 2:10 NKJV
The crown of life is also known as the Martyr’s crown. It is given to those who overcome great testing and trial.
Suffering for the Gospel is not a topic that we like to talk about. Unfortunately, this is a reality that many believers face in our modern day. From Christians being killed by radical Muslims in Nigeria, to the oppression of Christians by the state in China; the world over you will countless testimonies of believers who have loved Jesus unto death. Did you know that 1 in 7 Christians are persecuted worldwide for their faith and that 5.898 Christians were murdered last year? (see opendoors.org as well as Voice of the Matyrs https://www.youtube.com/user/VoiceOfTheMartyrsUSA).
The bridal attire in the vision speaks of the Bride of Christ, devoted lovers of Jesus. Their garments are pure and white, without a spot or a blemish, radiant with their acts of love (Revelation 19:7-9, Ephesians 5:25-27, 2 Cor 11:2)
The second crown I saw being handed out in my vision was the crown of righteousness
“And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me, but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:8
In the previous chapter, Paul writes to Timothy about the nature of the people of the Last Days. He describes how they will be selfish, rebellious, cruel, prideful and unloving ( 2 Tim 3:1-9). Those who will receive the crown of righteousness in contrast have keep themselves pure and are faithful till the coming of their King, Jesus Christ. These believers are like a Bride, who makes herself ready and are eagerly awaits her Bridegroom’s arrival.
I believe this vision speaks not only into a future coronation for these two groups of people, but the Lord was showing it to me now as an encouragement to endure all that is still to come before His return. He is calling us to persevere through trials and persecution, to draw closer to Him in intimacy like never before and to keep the burning hope of His coming alive in our hearts.
I pray that you will endure until the end, that you will be consumed by passionate love for your Bridegroom King, and that your spirit remains strong in the hope and joy that is set before us.
Blessings
Samantha
