Coming Around Full Circle

Have you ever had those moments in your life where you see God bringing things into full circle? I have been having a few of those lately. It is just amazing to see the chain-reaction of events that God is controlling and how some things come back full circle. It can only be God, He pays attention to every single detail in our lives, every single detail.

Last week Sunday (29 Apr 2018) a team of “prayer warriors” as I would like to call them, laid hands and prayed for me. I had been dealing with fear and fear-of-man recently and I asked them to pray deliverance prayers of me. I received deliverance during their prayers and then at some point I saw a vision.

I saw myself surfacing out of very deep waters. I looked around me and saw no land, there was only water. I was glad that their prayers had moved me from underwater to the surface, but I knew they had to keep praying for me until something more happened; floating around in a sea of water is not a good thing. As they continued to pray, suddenly I heard someone calling my name. I looked to my left and there He was, Jesus Himself walking on the waters. “Samantha,” He called, “Here I am.” He said it, as if He had been there the whole time and I had just not seen Him.

I felt so relieved to see Him. He reached out His hand towards me and brought me out of the water. I suddenly saw many small fishing boats which I had previously not noticed. We started to walk on the water together towards one of the boats and got in. Then we started to row the boat forwards, I rowed on the right, Jesus on the left. As they continued to pray for me, I suddenly saw other heads popping out of the water. I reached out my oar to a person floating in the water nearby and started to draw him out of the water.

That is when the tears starting flowing. I was just so overwhelmed by what God was showing me, by the awesome privilege of being in the rowing boat with Jesus and being given the responsibility to draw God’s children out of the depths of the sea with Him. I just felt so honoured and humbled and…it was just an amazing and incredible experience.

There are so many important aspect to this vision. If anyone has any further interpretation I would love to hear from you, leave a comment below. Here are a few points I would like to mention.

  • I realised later, that as my friends were praying for me, God was using their prayers to deliver other Christians out of the waters. They were praying in tongues so who knows what kind of decrees the Holy Spirit was making in that moment through them. I do believe though that in the spiritual realm, other brothers and sisters were set free and that is why I saw other people surfacing.
  • The group of people that prayed for me are people who do a LOT of intercession in their private lives. That is why I called them prayer warriors earlier on. So you can imagine the amount of annointing that was there when we came together and prayed for each other that day. It is important to keep up your inner spiritual level high, develop your inner man by reading the Word, pray, fast and WORSHIP :-). Don’t be an empty vessel, fill yourself up DAILY-
  • Jesus was rowing the boat on the left side. According to Ira Millligan, Right stands for power and authority whilst Left stands for weakness (of man), God’s strength or ability demonstrated through man’s weakness (Understanding the dreams you dream, Ira Milligan). This makes complete sense

    2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NKJV)

9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

We can do nothing on our own strength, Jesus pulled me out of the water, through Jesus I could walk on the water, only by partnering with Him could the boat go forward on the water, only by Him strengthening me where I am weak, could I help others. Stop trying to do things out of your own strength…you will sink. Rely on Jesus every-step-of-the-way!

Two years ago almost around the same time as now, I had a dream with fishing boats with sleeping Christians in them. That was a calling for me to intercede for Christians all over the world via prayer. This time round, two years later, I believe God is sending me a different message. There is a need for Christians to receive deliverance so that they too can be set free to walk on the waters, there is a need for Christians to be pulled out of the waters and placed into their ministries (boats), there is a need for Christians to walk in deeper intimacy with Jesus so that they can stop doing things on their own strength.

Where are you right now in your life? Trapped underwater, floating around on the surface but with no idea how to get to dry land, are you by faith walking on the waters or are you already partnering with Jesus and being active in your ministry? Do not forget to offer up prayers of supplication for all the saints.

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints

Ephesiens 6: 18

God bless
